How long is the Ambedkar Fellowship?

The Fellowship is a two-month programme combining policy research, field engagement and report preparation.

Is the Fellowship online or offline?

It is primarily an offline, Pune-based fellowship. Fellows must be available for field visits and in-person activities.

Who can apply?

Undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD scholars, researchers, young professionals and policy enthusiasts may apply.

Is Marathi compulsory?

Marathi proficiency is preferred because the Fellowship involves direct engagement with communities and local stakeholders in Pune.

Will fellows be provided a stipend?

Yes, a stipend will be provided to fellows.

What kind of work will fellows undertake?

Fellows will study selected social-justice schemes, conduct field engagement, document implementation gaps and prepare practical recommendations.

Will fellows receive a certificate?

Fellows who successfully complete all required research, fieldwork and final submissions will receive a certificate of completion.
